But for the saving power of God and prayers of the saints, 9-year-old Israel Oluwabukunmi Fabiyi, would have been confined to wheelchair for the rest of his life as he was struck with paralysis.
Elder I.O. Fabiyi testified of his son's divine healing at the just concluded LAWNA International Convention and paid his vow to the Lord.
According to him, on that fateful morning of Good Friday celebration last year, Israel was on his way to the living room to pick an item for his younger sister when he stumbled and fell on the ground.
He managed to stand and went to church after first aid treatment was applied on his legs, but at the church he could no longer stand again as he laid on one of the pews in the church.
On getting home, his parents discovered that his two legs and hands were paralyzed, and he could no longer use any of his legs and hands.
His travail seemed unending because aside paralysis, he could not eat by himself, sit or move any part of his body. According to the father of the boy, Elder I.O. Fabiyi of Jebba Centre Assembly, Jebba District in Jebba Area, he had a revelation where he saw a spirit being entering into his territory; he strived to prevent the spirit being but to no avail.
'Not quite three months later, Israel was struck with the paralysis, said Elder Fabiyi.
'I reported the case to the Area Superintendent, Pastor Samuel Olaosebikan Arapasopo who immediately summoned a prayer deliverance band which was headed by him.
Simultaneously with the prayer band in Jebba, I prayed along while I returned to my work place in Benin, Edo State.
Elder Fabiyi said he came to the last year LAWNA International Convention to pray and make a vow to God that 'if God could restore the health of my son; and he got back on his leg hale and hearty as he was given birth to, I would bring him before the Lord and pay my vow'.
