Pastor Samuel Sunday Jemigbon, the LAWNA Territorial Chairman and Vice President of The Apostolic Church, Nigeria has said God, the El-Shadiah is more than enough for Christians who walk perfectly with Him this year.
The LAWNA Chairman made the assertion at the New Year Day Special Service held at the LAWNA International Convention Grounds, Olorunda-Ketu, Lagos.
Speaking on 'the revelation of God as the Almighty God', Pastor Jemigbon said God revealed Himself to Abram as the Lord God Almighty who is more than sufficient for all things he might encounter.
Pastor Jemigbon said God, the El-Shadiah is more than any mountain which Christians may be confronted with, more than enemies and obstacles of life. He added that He is bigger than any problem Christians may be passing through as He can do all things for He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
He read Joshua 10:13, 'And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Joshua, so the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day'.
He said God is not limited and He is more than any problem and affliction Christians may encounter in the course of the year.
'If you have the El-Shadiah in your life, you would have great safety because the angels would encompass you and guard you in all your journey this year', said Pastor Jemigbon.
The LAWNA Chairman added that if Christians fear the Lord, they would experience the greatness of God, saying, 'this is our confidence that God, the El-Shadiah is more than enough for you in all situations.
Pastor Jemigbon who read Genesis 17:13 'I Am the Almighty God; walk before Me and be thou perfect', said God demands of Christians to walk before Him and be perfect. According to him, 'As long as you are doing the will of God and walking in perfection before the Lord, you have nothing to fear because He would prove Himself as the Lord God Almighty. He said to be perfect is to be wholly dedicated to the will of God.
Pastor Jemigbon said Enoch, Noah and Job all walked perfectly before God as he read Genesis 5:24, 'And Enoch walked with God and he was not, for God took him'. 'You are to walk before God and be perfect, keep His commandment, obey His voice, serve Him and draw near to God said Pastor Jemigbon.
Pastor Jemigbon emphasized the need to keep God's commandment and obey His voice as he made reference to Deuteronomy 13:4, 'Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him and keep his commandments, and obey His voice, and ye shall serve Him and cleave unto Him'.
He added that nothing shall be impossible for the Christians who draw near to Him and obey His words because God cannot run out of His energy, and nothing can be impossible for Him.
Pastor Jemigbon read Matthew 17:20, “And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief for verily, I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain. Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”, adding that, for Christians who believe, there shall be no impossibility.
‘Hold fast to the name El-Shadiah, be obedient and walk perfectly before Him to receive the grace of God to be able to do all things', he charged.
