The crowded gathering of the Saints filled the auditorium of the National Temple, LAWNA International Convention Grounds, Olorunda-Ketu Lagos, venue of the First Day service to the brim, and waited patiently to receive from the Lord.
The Lord God, as of old, spoke through four prophets including Pastor P. O. Ikpen of the Apapa Area, Pastor J. A. Olabiyi of Agege Area, Pator S.A. Fabunmi of Iju Area and Pastor A. O. Adeesina of Ipaja area. The key to your escape from all the problems that shall come is your trust in Me your God. Trust no man.
On the words of the motto: Thus saith the Lord; they that put their trust in the Lord shall be like mount zion which cannot be removed, but abides for ever.(Psalm 125:1).
The Prophet said, there may be shakings here and there, but those who trusts in God are safe, saying the Lord has made Himself to be security for them wherever they might be; whether on the sea, on the land, or in the air.
According to the prophetical message, It is My will to keep you and to conduct you safely unto the end of your pilgrimage. I am the Lord, I changeth not, said the Lord God of Hosts. Pastor Ikpen asked the leaders to pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding to judge correctly in the course of the various case that shall be brought before them during the year.
Do not break the fence. All act of injustice is breaking the fence, said the Lord, as He reaffirmed His Ownership of the church, adding that sectionalism should be removed from your affairs because it is one of the walls that I have pulled down.
Although, it may be difficult to exterminate grumbling and murmuring entirely from the church but it can be minimized by respecting every human being and treating them equally, said the Lord
The words of prophecy also warned against husband and wife divorcing each other, saying; try and adjust yourselves to live peaceably with one another. The wind of distrust shall blow in the home and in the government of the nation. Pray against confusion because justice and fair play is departing gradually from the world.
It added that violence shall be rampant during the year as the wind of sorrow shall blow, fire will take its toll, and road accidents will multiply. No one will be saved except those in Me.
Pastor Olabiyi, in his prophetical message said: This is a year of answered prayers and that is why the Lord asked for prayer of the saints without ceasing or fainting during the year.
I call the year a year of mercy; I shall have mercy on whom I shall have mercy. Hear, O My people, you shall receive mercy, the old, the young, all shall receive mercy in the year, saith the Lord. I have opened the door of mercy; I shall have mercy on you. I shall bless you in the year.
The Lord God told the broken hearted not to be afraid because He was ready to avenge for His beloved across the nation, in every state, in each local government, and in each church.
Call upon Me, I have opened My ears to hear your cries.
He asked for the Church to pray to rebuke the plan to bring whirlwind to shake the land, saying He has handed over the nation to the church and would deliver it to them.
The prophet also revealed that the time of separating the weed from the wheat is here, when God cannot longer tolerate poverty, trouble and afflictions and persecution and weeping of the saints.
According to Pastor Olabiyi This year is a year when the wicked, the bloody and the taskmasters shall be punished. I cannot but abort all pregnancies of rebellion, saith the Lord.
He declared that the Lord would seize power from the herbalists that have mingled with the Saints and as well terminate all the powers of diviners in the Vision from the top downward.
The message warned that from this time on, there is no room for disobedience any longer in the Vision. This dispensation, listen to My voice of love, all you beloved, it is a peculiar one, saith the Lord.
He told the Saints that this period is one in which you have to be careful in the presence of your Lord and therefore be ready to meet with the Bridegroom for the time of manifestation is nigh, says the Lord
On his part, Pastor S. A. Fabunmi declared that those who are prayerful would sail through the various occurrences that shall be happening in the course of the year. I want you to be obedient to the messages I shall be sending unto you from time to time so that the year can be that of joy for you, saith the Lord.
He called upon all those who have dropped the garment of prayer, to come back and be prayerful, because the things which you will need to pray upon cannot but occurred during the year.
Let there be revival throughout the length and breath of LAWNA Territory, saith the Lord. Let all vessels of revival that you have be made to grow in the Spirit. Teach your up and coming and growing children the principles of revival, saith the Lord.
Be obedient to all the instructions that will be coming from the leaders unto you from time to time in the year. Because it is written that if you are willing and obedient, you shall reap the good fruit of the land. All the warfare that may confront you I will stand against them and remove them, saith the Lord.
Pastor Fabunmi cautioned against allowing in the Vision the custom of those who wrongly call themselves Christians, saying that it is good if they receive from the church to use but not good for you to bring strange doctrines from them to the Vision, saith the Lord.
The voice of the Lord also asked the Saints to pray that the unity of the Vision may stand solidly firm, because some are kindling the fire of rebellion.
Leaders of the Church were told to give room to themselves, whether as Executive Council or General Executive Members, to ask among them anyone who has a grudge over any matter so that the unity may be sustained.
The elders also were told to let your cooperation be stronger than it used to be in the past; and those that are put in charge of assemblies are cautioned against arrogating power of administration to themselves.
Pastor A. O. Adesina, who gave the first prophetical message, warned that the year is a year of recompense for the disobedient ones and of reward for all those who believe in God as their Lord and Saviour without adding any other thing.
It is said; those who walk faithfully with Me and believe in Me are the ones that will reap the benefits in the year. Yea, I want to satisfy you, you that are upright before Me; you that are bearing the burden and heat of the day for gospel's sake.
Therefore, you the beloved ones abide in My will, saith the Lord. Yea, stay in the land of Goshen where your souls are secured, saith the Lord.
Pastor Adesina warned that going back to the world for worldly things cannot profit any man, saying; behold, the world shall be judged in the year, high places shall be broken down and flood shall sweep away
I have sure protection and My power surrounds My people. I Am declaring unto you that there is no safety in the world. The wisdom of the wise shall fail them. The powerful ones shall be captured even through their acclaimed power, saith the Lord.
The message cautioned the unfaithful, the filthy and the hypocrites but said, the Lord shall give power unto the righteous to walk even in the wilderness of the world successfully.
The Lord God of hosts told all those who are privileged to be close to the LAWNA Territorial Chairman, including ministers and officers in the church to be faithful; be faithful in prayer without ceasing and without faint, and with God's fear, to build a fortress round him.
Do not use the opportunity that you have to trouble him. Do not use the opportunity which you have to be bad advisers and to mislead him to a wrong path, saith the Lord.
Do not use your hypocritical wisdom to confuse the church. I AM the Head of the church, I shall not leave My servant alone, saith the Lord.
